Portrait Project - Age

My theme for my portrait project has changed a little bit.
I am still going to convey age, but really reflect on what that
person has gone through. For my 3 in studio, I am going to
be taking pictures of Julia, Maddie, and someone that is to be
determined. They will be my age demonstrating teenage years
and display their age through their eyes and facial expressions.
All three of the photos will be colorful and not black and white.
For my out of studio photos, they will all be in black and white.
I chose the out of studio photos to be black and white to showcase
older age and younger age. I will take pictures of my Papa
and my little sister. So I will be taking pictures of the models' young years, teenage years, and old years. This will show the differences that one can acquire with age. For example, my grandparents will have wrinkles and blemishes. I want to embrace the different parts of beauty (inside & out). For lighting, I want really natural and simple lighting that showcases all aspects of the model's face. This can be achieved by illuminating the full face or putting the light on the side.

New Portrait Ideas

For my project, I would like to use gels to give my pictures more of a story. I will use gels to match the models personality. I like most likely use makeup to assist the color of the gel. The other picture is how I would like to take the picture. I want the model looking strait at the camera with a soft lighting. For one picture, I would use blue gels to portray the model as sad. I would do a darker makeup. Like dripping mascara down the models face to portray the feeling they were crying. For another picture, I would use a yellow gel to portray the model as happy. I would do their makeup bright to portray the happy look. I would use either a ring light with the two gel lights or two soft boxes and a gel light. Even though the two pictures are very different, I would like to combine the different aspects of the pictures to make a very powerful portrait. I am still unsure of what I want my theme to be because I want to do a really good job on this project, but I am pretty confident with this idea.

portrait revision

Portraiture

My theme for my project will be diverse beauty. I will be shooting Knox, Emily, and Emily in studio. Each of them has a different color or texture of hair. At home, I will be taking pictures of my little sister with a fancy braid in her hair. My focus of most of the photos will be their faces and hair. Additionally, the background I will use in studio will be black. The lighting will be mostly bright with perhaps a light shadow on half of the face. They will wear beige or a neutral color shirt. Out of studio will be much brighter. If I really like a photo, I may want to turn it into black and white. Also, I will let my models decide how they want to smile (with no teeth, with teeth, softer, etc.). If they wear makeup, I want it to be light pink lipstick and natural face with either gold or light-brownish eyeshadow. I want them to have some freedom to choose how they feel most beautiful.

My portrait projects theme is going to be masks. The lighting and colors will depend on the model. i will use A blue mask for Evelyn and put her on a blue background and she will wear all white. I also will put a black mask on someone who's skin is less pale. I may use smoke but will most likely not. I will use soft lighting and use minimal lighting.

In and Out of Studio Lighting

For both in studio and out of studio pictures, I am going to use the bokeh lighting style. I want to use fairy lights and low light to capture the model's personalities. I am definitely using Emily and Maddie and Evelyn for in studio and Margaux and Emma and possibly Ella for out of studio. I am taking the pictures describing how everyone feels. I left the outfits up to the model. I am hoping to accomplish this idea by using different technics for each personality. This will be done by using mirrors and different props to add variety. My angles will be very different and diverse depending on the personality. I want to also use car lights as a big light component out of studio. I am hoping to take pictures mostly in the dark or low light so the lights will look better. I also want to use lights from the streets and shops.

Escape Part 2

In studio, I am shooting Knox, Abigail, and Amelia. For Knox, I am going to have her dressed in her white volleyball uniform. She also wear her volleyball knee pads, lacrosse helmet, googles, and mouth guard. She will be holding her lax stick, basketball, and a volleyball. I want the lighting to hit her directly, straight-forward. I will be using 2 soft boxes and light on full power. I want to capture all of her but at the same time for of her face, I am going to have her on one knee. I will shoot her on a white backdrop because of all the colors that all the gear has. Next, I will be shooting Amelia. Amelia is going to wear a rolling stone shirt, black jeans, and with beat headphones. I am going to have her do two poses and then decide which one captures her portrait better. First, I will have her upside down on the red chair with her head hanging down and her eyes wide open with a smile on her face or closed with a soft smile meaning that she is feeling the music. I want to capture a shadow of the headphones and try to have the light hitting down at her face. Second, I will have her sit criss-crossed on the chair, mediating to the music. The Light will be direct on her also. My last model which is Abigail. She will be in her track uniform with her hair up. I am going to capture a moment of her running through red ribbon with confetti in the air as if she just won a race. The light will be direct on her face to capture her expression and focus on the emotion running causes her to feel. Both Amelia and Abigail will be on a black backdrop.
Out of studio, I am shooting Annie, Kieran, and Katie. For Annie, I am going to have her in a room that has many windows so the light is coming in. I want to take it in the afternoon when the light is bright and full exposed around 2-3 PM. She will be playing piano and I want to capture the peace that playing the music gives her. I want her to be in comfortable clothes that she feels herself in. For Kieran, he is going to be placed in a soccer goal on the field during the day around 11. He will wear his all white soccer uniform including socks and shoes. One foot on a soccer ball, holding a bag of gummy bears, with one hand about to pop on in his mouth like an action shot. Also one picture of a close up with him eating gummy bears. I want the light to be direct on his face. Lastly, I will be shooting Katie in her bed around 4-5 PM. Having it be late afternoon when people usually are tired and the light is starting to dim down. She will be covered up in sheets and head on a pillow. Her eyes will be open with a soft smile or closed with a soft smile.

portrait project

In Studio
- for each picture there will be one person in either their most comfortable or clothes they feel most themselves and confident in.
- it will be a white background, to represent a clean canvas, and they are the subject. I will hand them a mirror which will either be held or on the ground at an angle to where you can see their reflection. It will be up to the model because it should be their own reflection and unique.
- the Lighting is going to be even and straight on, i want the focus to be on the model and their reflection of how they feel and look.
- models - Evelyn, Serena, Emily
Out of Studio
- I am going to be using the mirrors once again to portray a reflection of how the model feels but they will be wearing clothing of a single color, most likely all black or white. I am going to have them in a relatively public place, The idea again will be to show how the model feels in the current moment with what surrounds them.  The first picture will be in a coffee shop (bold bean) the atmosphere is people either getting work done, meeting up, or hanging out. For each picture out of studio it will be interesting of how many people will be around, either quiet or loud and full.  The second location will be in a parking lot and third at the beach during the weekend when (hopefully) lots of people will be out and create an interesting environment. Lastly, I might be taking pictures in a laundromat, i think the environment is completely different and a sense of having to wait for clothes with other strangers if it's busy could create a good environment to maybe make the model uncomfortable.

portrait idea

My idea for my portrait project is to show the effect weather has on peoples emotions. I want to display the theme through a sad picture in the rain. In studio I will use a black background with the  model, Knox, wearing all black holding a black umbrella. In my out of Studio I will spray water on the window and shoot through the window capturing the depressed emotion on my models face. For my second picture I will display the theme of happiness in sunshine. In studio I will have Evelyn dressed in colorful clothing on a yellow background with lighting coming from the top left corner acting as the sun. Out of studio I will have a similar style picture with my model acting playful in the sunshine or maybe at the pool or beach. For my third picture I will show the theme of the sluggish or sick feeling that is displayed by people in the cold weather. For in studio i will shoot my model wrapped in blankets and other warm clothes on a white background lying on the ground with light shining from up above. Out of studio i will shoot someone in a bed or a couch wrapped in blankets. Or i will have the model with tissues wrapped in blankets. For the cold weather pictures i will have the models face in the shadow to portray the sick or sluggish feeling.

Portrait

For the portrait project I will be photographing people as if they were living in Hollywood during the 50's. In studio I will be photographing Knox, Harper, and Emily wearing black dresses, pearls, fur wraps and putting their hair up in 50's styles trying to make them look like Hollywood stars in the 50's. I will take these photos on a black background as I have seen many photos be taken on a black background when I have researched. The black background will help keep the photos simple yet complex making the models look sophisticated, it will also add to the time period. I will shoot with a lower camera angle to give the model more attitude. For the lighting I will place the brightest part of the light in the center of the face attaching panels to the side of the light to create deeps shadows on the cheeks making sure the lights aren't flooding all over the place. My goal with the lighting is to create deep shadows on the face while completely blending the background. I want the photographs main attention to be on the model when they are looked at. For my outside photos I want to try my best to place my models in settings that resemble Hollywood in the 50's. Since my in studio photos will be darker with the lighting I want to make the out of studio photos brighter and less serious.

outline

My theme as changed from sassy to boujee. My theme in itself is how different people interpret the word boujee. In studio I am shooting Brooke, Harper, and Emily with bright colors, fur coats, fur hats, sunglasses, high heels, and maybe fake ice. These photos will be taken on a black background to make the colors really pop and make the inner boujeeness comes out. For my out of studios I will be shooting 2 friends from soccer; Olivia and Izzy. I will also be shooting drag queens because they are some pretty boujee people. My models out of studio will be in unique locations were boujeeness is accepted and empowered. My lighting in studio will be straight on from all side to equalize all proportions of the face and I will most likely use gels to create a bigger effect on my model and their face. I will be shooting either full body or chest and up and to create the complete boujee effect. My lighting out of studio will be created using the spoon effect and natural lighting. Image result for portrait lighting

revise to portrait project

For my project, I will be shooting Knox, Maddie, and Harper in the studio, and other girls of the same age out of the studio. I would like to shoot on a white background, and focus my lighting on the models face where it projects almost evenly across the face. However, I do not want to shoot the model straight on; I would like to shoot her at an angle. I will place an object such as bright colored feather on the model's face to help with the lifting and also put another focus point in the image.  I want my models to wear very simple clothing, but I plan to shoot angling from the shoulders up. I would like the models to wear their hair down because I think it will help frame their faces.

abigail jones

portrait outline.

For my in studio I will be shooting Emily, Abigail, and Maddie. They will be wearing a black shirt and I will be shooting them on a black background. For lighting i wan too do straight on their faces. I don't want shadows. i want the photos to be really happy. they will each get a sunflower. their faces will show a happy/surprised face.

For my out of studio i will be doing the same thing with the flowers and their expression. they will be wearing whatever they are wearing that day though since I'm surprising them with the sunflowers. i will be shooting my mom, mrs rose and Lainey. i will be shooting them outside.

portrait finalized

For my in studio portrait project, I am doing an all white background, white tablecloth, with white plates, and my models will be wearing all white, with no makeup. My models are Evelyn, Julia, and Harper. I want my pictures to represent the way people feel when they eat their favorite food. The lighting is going to be very bright, but showing all of their facial features. I will have two lights that are contrasting the shadow by facing each other. For my environmental pictures, the models are going to be in their favorite restaurant. Julia will have Mccdonalds, Evelyn will have Mellow Mushroom, and Harper will have Tijuana flats. The lighting will be very natural and very simple because I want the sole focus to be on the feeling they get when eating food.

about portrait photos

For the in studio photos, I am shooting my friend Virginia Murray. I am going to put an orange backdrop behind her and clothe her with either colorful clothes or black and white clothes. I will turn the light up so she glows along with the orange behind her. I will also dress her with a super long silk dress and she will be facing the other way. It will show the beauty of a woman's body and her back muscles. It will be a black and white photo, with most likely a black backdrop. I will also put a floral men's shirt on her like the 90's, and I will put her hair up in a bun. I will shoot a little below her face, so you can see her facial structure and how beautiful she is.

As for the outside of the studio photos, I will be shooting my sister, Mandy. She's a beautiful person with a beautiful personality. She is also an incredible dancer. She went to LaVilla then DA for dance. Therefore, she is extremely passionate about dance. I will be shooting her in Jasper, Florida, where my dad hunts, and shoot her in the woods at around 5:00-6:00, so the light is dim, but it is still light outside. I will dress her in either a black, light pink, or tan leotard with tights. she will put her point shoes on and be on point for the photos. Her hair will be down and flowy.

laughing

For my dip tic I will be shooting sally on a stool. i will give her a "gloomy"  neutral outfit, a grey oversized sweater and leggings with her hair down and also i will have the lighting be farther away, to give it that dark look, and more suspenseful and the back drop will be black. The camera will be zoomed in on her chest up, so i can show her posture to show how she is feeling. For the left dip tic, i will be taking a picture of her on the same stool in front of the white back drop, wearing a colorful red crop top and big hoop earrings to have that POP of a color to show how she's feeling now, just before i take the picture i will play a funny sound that will make her laugh and BOOM i take the picture of her in mid laugh, it will show the before and after of someone laughing. The lighting will be closer and i will do  the picture chest up too.

For my outside studio picture i will be doing the same type of thing for my sister but for the background for the left side dip tic it will be her sitting in a chair by a run down building and it will be a full body picture just before sunset, and she will be wearing old clothes and then for the right side dip tic i will be taking a picture of her sitting on a chair in front of a yellow slide in a park and she will be wearing colorful clothes and that will be at noon so i can get bright lighting, and it will also be a full body picture. And i will be doing the same thing like for the in studio picture, playing the funny sound and capturing her pure laugh.

Portrait planning

When I come into the studio I want to shoot people in poses that politicians often use. I will bring props such as mini flags, posters, etc. I am going to make the each photo bright to make the person look dynamic. I believe that enhancing the photo with more light produces a cleaner and direct. If the photos were dark then the politician would not look like a true politician because when you picture one, you picture brightness. The images in general will look clean and have a sense of happiness in them. For my in studio photos, I want to take a photo of people trying to get autographs. Red, White and Blue will be placed all over the photo. Another one I want to make the Poltician giving a speech to a small group of people. For the last one I am going to show the candidate talking to the people about issues and talking. All of these pictures will contain the candidate wearing something patriotic.

Portrait

For my portrait project I am planning on shooting a specific angle of my models collar bones and their face is turned slightly to the left or right to show the accents of their jawline. I want to crop out the nose and eyes so the person looking at my picture is observing the models shoulders, collar bones, jawline, and lips. I plan on shooting with one or two lights.

Portrait Ideas

For my project, I am taking pictures of people with their phones.  I will use two lights and I will not use any light reflecting boards.  They will have expensive phones and tablets.

Portrait ideas

For my portrait project I am sticking to the idea of wishful thinking. Ella Smith will be my model for in studio and I will be using a white background. My three ideas for in studio photos are to blow out candles on a cake, pull petals of a flower, and wishing on a four leaf clover. For the Birthday cake photo I will use low lit lights because i want the candles on the cake to standout. I will probably use a pink or blue gel for the lighting in this photo to make it feel like a party. For the flower photo I will try to throw petals in the background or hang some on the backdrop while Ella pulls petals off a flower. I might use a yellow gel on this picture to give the sense of Sun. for my last in studio photo I will use a green gel while ella holds a four leaf clover. I want the picture to feel like St. Patricks day so Ella will wear green. For my out of studio ideas I will take a picture of my friend praying, making a wish in a fountain, and making a wish at 11:11. For the prayer photo I want the lighting to be dimmer just like they have it at church. He will probably be holding a rosary or a cross to show that he is praying. For the fountain picture I will show my friend throwing a penny into a fountain. I am going to find a smaller fountain in a quiet place because I don't want people in the background. My last picture is the 11:11 photo and i will take a picture of my friend in front of a digital clock while he closes his eyes and crosses his fingers. The out of studio pictures will have a more of a natural light tone.

portrait project

For my in studio pictures, they will all be in black and white. I will use the white backdrop and natural lighting. To get the natural lighting I'm going to use the regular studio lights, but turn the brightness down. For my model, I'm going to use Annie. In my pictures, I want to really utilize her long hair to create balance and emphasis. My in studio pictures will just be her upper bodying I will (probably) have her sitting down on a stool. I want to show the beauty in simplicity. She will be wearing loose, relaxed, clothing, and her facial expression will be content or happy, once again showing the beauty found in simplicity.

portrait

Image result for half faCe covered
my idea is to find and use objects with different purposes in each picture. i will use the same person and in each picture one of the different objects will be covering half of the persons face. some examples i may use are money, phones/ ipads, their own hands, loads of makeup, and other people/ their hands. in the last picture, that same persons face will be revealed and the other half will be shown. the lighting will be bright and clear in the photos leading up to the revealing of the other half of the face. the meaning is to try to show how people cover up who they really are will all of their possessions and items. they only show "half of themselves" and hide from earthly valuables. in the last picture, the lighting will be dark and the other half of the face will be show the side of ourselves we try to hide the most. the unhappy or mangled side of her will be revealed. for clothes, the pictures where she is hidden and "happy", she will be wearing a plain white shirt. for the picture where she is revealed, she will be wearing a plain black shirt as to show she is "unhappy" when showing her true self.
my project is intended to have an order. the first picture will have very minimal lighting with someone with dark hair and dark eyes. minimal paint will be on their face. by the end the lighting will be significantly brighter and the colors will be covering almost all of the person. I'm going to use a dark back ground thought the entire project for consistency.  also the person will be sitting on a stool. ( idk if it'll be shown....haven' t decided that yet...) the clothes will also be simple and consistent. (grey shirt?) the focus will be on the face the whole time

Portrait plans

For my project, I want to use the lighting to emphasize eyes. I want to place a soft light on the side of my model to create shadows. I want to dress my models in dark clothing and use a dark background to place focus on bright eyes that are emphasized with makeup that represent the mood of the model. For my environment pictures, I want to place my models in places they feel scared or angry.

Portrait Project Final Plans

Ok so I may have changed my mind about my project theme. I'm using an idea Emily Ziomek suggested to me: the six senses. Three senses in studio, three out.

In Studio

Sixth Sense:
• In studio
• Wearing all black (white backdrop)
• Not looking at camera
• Shadows protruding from all sides of her
• Emily Spinning
• Deadpan expression

• Alston wearing white
◦ Long sleeves
• Hugging very tight
• Smiling, happy
• Black backdrop

• In studio
• Holding shard of glass/mirror
• White backdrop (on ground)
• Emily
• Reflection shown in shard of mirror

• Smelling coffee
• Isabella or whoever's available
•  Focused on face but background also shown

Hearing:
• In busy place

• Deadpan facial expression

portrait

I will be shooting Mia Carter with a puppy. I will use bright lighting to make the picture feel light and happy. I will try to make her in bright colored clothes with a simple smile on her face. I don't know what color background she will be on. Maybe a light blue color. I want to try a lot of different angles and colors.

for this project i want the lighting to be over exposed and the aperture at a low number like maybe 5.6. I want the lighting to also be in the middle, therefore no shadows, so the light is not towards the right nor left. i am shooting all different types of pictures with different facial features, emotions, hair color and accessories. I mostly want my out-of-studio pictures better than my in-studio.

Portrait Paragraph

When I come into the studio I will put two lights in front of my people. I will keep the camera about chest level so you can see the full outfit of my people. I want to capture the image of a chill group that also get hyped. I am going to have my people do whatever they want to do to capture the humanity in them.  I will agave them wear sort of relaxed slash hood clothes to show the culture of rappers. I will use straight white to because I want to use the mugshot effect

Portrait

My theme for this project is RESPECT.  I believe that kids do not respect their parents, teachers, and elders.  I will photograph people in my class holding phones and iPads.  I also will take pictures of people in their professions.  I want people to learn how to give respect.

Portrait idea

For my portraits I am going to take photos of people portraying themselves as politicans running for office. I plan on taking pictures of them on the campaign trail waving to people, signing autographs, and giving speeches to crowds. Using jackets and patriotic items will be key in the success of this shooting.

portrait idea

Sean Stiegemeier

This is the kind of lighting I like ^
For in the studio, I want to shoot a friend on a dark background with focus on the color of their eyes and hair. I will shoot so that their face/head is the focal point, and it will be illuminated while the background is darker and more blurred. They will each have a different positioning of their hands/head/eyes but will be mostly serious with a small smile, so that their eyes speak for the photo. Additionally, each of my friends will have differently-textured hair. Some will have straight blonde hair, others curly brown, and can have different hairstyles, too. Out of studio, I want to take pictures of my little sister with different hairstyles like fancy braids (these will probably be inside) and her hair blowing in the wind, (outside) and the outdoor photos will be nice and bright with lots of sunlight.

Portrait Nimnicht

For my project, I am going to photograph different people with different types of makeup. There makeup will match there style. Someone who is sporty might not wear as much makeup as someone who wants to model. The makeup will also describe what they are dealing with in their life. Someone who wears bright colorful makeup might be very happy but someone who wears dark makeup might be depressed. The makeup is important because it could spread awareness for mental health and what people really have going on inside. The makeup isn't suppose to be portrayed for beauty but as art. Makeup could be the way someone express their emotions.

portrait nigro

My goal for my project is to use lighting to capture the model's personalities. I am going to use multiple models to capture multiple different looks and personalities. My inspiration came from Brandon Woelfel. I also want to use things like fairy lights and car headlights as the majority of my lighting. I also want to use city lights. I am hoping this project will have a blissful and easy going feeling well capturing the different sides of everyone and their true colors.

mirror portrait

For my project i am going to be using mirrors and a stool.  My in studio pictures are going to portray the model being comfortable with how they look and feel. They will be either sitting or standing looking into their reflection. Out of studio I am going to be taking the model to a place where they either don't feel comfortable or alone. The picture is going to be the reflection of the mirror, not the person them self, or try at least. The idea of being inside before someone goes out can change based off of the environment they are placed in.

portrait

I plan to take pictures of people who are in there happiest state of mind. weather that be them eating ice cream or sleeping i don't know what exactly I'm going to take pictures of them doing but I'm going to get them to do what they love the most and see their reaction. I want lighting to be more on the face than anything else and to catch specific facial expressions. I will probably end up changing it because is nit exactly me and not exactly original but I think right now if I can think of some good ideas with it, it is ok

Escape

My portrait idea deals with stress relief. I want to capture how people feel when they escape their stress. In this world today, many people are constantly filled with stress and when they need to unwind/take a break they go to one constant thing to make them feel relaxed. I have already picked my models and what will describe their stress relief. Amelia P is going to wear headphones with her legs crossed. All of my in school studio pictures will contain the model in white clothing with a bright colored backdrop. Abigail running through a finishing line. Knox will have an armload of gear of the sports she plays to make her feel at home and calm. Out side of school will contain of soccer, piano, and the beach. All of these things release stress for the models. Overall it is all about escaping stress and how they do it.

portrait photo

For my Portrait Project, I am going to convey the idea of age. I am going to use older models (most likely my grandparents) to show old age. The photos of my grandparents will be in black and white. For my in studio photos, I am going to take pictures of people my age in color to show young age. The black and white shows the effect of a long life filled with many memories and experiences. I want their eyes to tell the story of their past. For my younger models, I am going to showcase the idea of embracing the present by telling a story through their eyes as well. For example, in this photo on the right, this woman's eyes tell the story of her past. Even though she has wrinkles and age blemishes, her inner beauty shines through her eyes.

portrait idea

for my portrait project, i want to capture the emotion of the person when they get surprised with something that would make them happy. i want to surprise people at their homes for out of studio with a sunflower. i want to get their original face when they get something that will make their day.  i like this lighting . i love how it id bright on their face and i feel like it would help express the emotion with the bright lighting.

harper mcevoy

portait photo

For my portrait project my theme is sassy. In this project I will be capturing my models inner sassiniess through bright colors, unique clothes, and facial expressions. For my set-up I will be going thrift shopping to buy clothing, sunglasses, and anything else that stands out to my eye. In my out of studio photos, my general idea is to take photos in places where a person feels they hold authority. For example, I would take a photo of a person in "feel-good" clothes in the middle of the street. The idea of having bright colors, a good facial expression, and even an occasional hair flip will really set the mood for this project.

Portrait Knox

For my Portrait project, I want to represent the feelings people get when they are eating their favorite food. I imagine a white background, white table with white tablecloth, the model wearing all white, and the food sitting on a white plate. The only color in the photo is the skin color and the color of their favorite food. For my environmental photos I will bring the same model to their favorite restaurant and photograph them there. This photo is an example of the lighting I want to achieve in the studio. I am excited about this idea because I love food and I know that many other people do as well, so I cannot wait to see their reactions. The first model is going to be Julia Kato because she loves McDonalds.

portrait

For my project, I would like to mirrors, glasses, and magnifying lenses. I think you can do a lot when incorporating these objects into a portrait. Through using these objects, I am able to put emphasis on different parts of the face. Also, by using reflective pieces, I am able to work with different lighting techniques. I know using mirrors is going to be challenging, but I think if done correctly it could turn into a really interesting project.

abigail jones

kieran's amazing portrait idea

My idea for my portrait project is to show how emotion changes with the different types of weather. In my out of studio i will use the weather or create a scene where the weather will have an effect on the models emotion. For example I will have rain represent a gloomy image on the models face. I will have summer or sunshine represent content or happiness on the models faces. Lastly, I will use the cold and dreary weather to create boredom or I will use it positively and create a sense of comfort.

Portrait

My theme for my portrait project are accents of the chest up. Specifically, necks, collar bones, and lips. When I first started to think about this project, I wanted to shoot people with an emotional, beautiful expression on their face. But when I started to think about the theme beautiful, I thought about the features on humans from the neck up. I think that lips, collar bones, and necks are truly beautiful features on a human.

portrait

For my project I will take photos of people making wishes. For the idea of wishful thinking, I will take the pictures in the moment that someone is making a wish, to show the reaction they have. In the studio I will use light colored backgrounds such as blue and white, to set a "happy" mood to the portrait. The point of my project is to capture the moment in which someone is blindly happy. The people I will be taking pictures of are brunettes so their dark hair will contrast against the light backgrounds I use. Most of my pictures will be high speed because I will take the photo while the action is being done.

Portrait idea

For my project, I want to put a lot of emphasis on the eyes. I believe that eyes are the windows to the soul, and I want to show how one's eyes can reveal their emotion. For my environmental images, I want to place people in places where they feel happy, scared, and sad. I want to focus on intense facial expressions that make the audience feel the same emotions as my models.

Portrait

For my portrait project, I want to capture different colors and moods in certain places. For my in studio project, all my pictures will be in black and white, and consistent of a variety of different facial expressions. For my out of studio pictures, they will be in color. I want to represent a variety of different aesthetic in my pictures, but mainly relaxed and kind of trendy. My model has really long and beautiful hair so I will definitely use that to create the relaxed and happy look.

Portrait Idea Beaver

For my project I want to show people in their comfort zone vs. out of their comfort zone. Most of my friends are very guarded and don't like to take risks so i want to change that by making them do crazy things haha. For the first four pictures I will show them doing things they love to do on an everyday basis that they love. On the last four pictures, I want to show them doing the opposite of those things. For example, if one of my friends loves doing her hair, I will show her brushing her hair in the first picture but in the second picture she will be wearing a crazy wig or something. I basically want to prove to my friends that it's ok to tea risks sometimes because the outcome could expose them to all whole new world of expression. I will call it, "Teaching my Friends How to Break the Law". Just kiddingggg... maybe

Image result for beastie boys

I want to do the beastie boys as my project because there music is classic mad beats. I want to show how they are chill and clean inside and outside of the studio. They also show their emotions and they don't care how they show them. Their colors in this picture all match and they match with the background. I like the way the leader in the middle also has different accessories than his other two partners.

url.png   Doga are considered a mans best friend. Everyone in my project will be with their dog taking pictures with them. I want to show how people interact with their animals. i want the background to simplistic so you can focus more on the person. I like how the photographer made the eyes of the animal and the people align. In my photos I want their to be at least one similar characteristic throughout all my photos.
