What I Think of the Berg Gallery Photo:

     

     Most young girls under the age of ten years old are portrayed with pig tails and big rainbow swirly lollipops. I feel as if this image is made to seem out of the ordinary, and that is exactly the reason that I like it. In order for this image to be better I feel like the lighting on the back wall could be more symmetrical since the rest of the image is symmetrical. The image is very balanced. Yu can see this in the symmetry of the lamps and the tablecloth. You can also see balance in the asymmetry with the girl holding the knife. There is emphasis on the little girl because she is in all black.
