I chose this photo because I love the pool so I was naturally drawn to it! I loved the mood of the picture! To me, the picture is thought through and very good quality. When I found out what the idea behind the bumble was, I fell in love with the photo even more. When swimmers swim, bubbles rise to the top a pop. So in this picture, the bubble the girl was blowing popped!

I  chose this picture because I like how it is very dark but then the lights illuminate it. It has nice contrast. The picture shows movement by adding a lighter tint of her face in front of her face.

This image stood out to me because of the emphasis the blue holds in this picture. What it represents  to me is peace and calmness. The color blue is "considered beneficial to the mind and body". She seems so relaxed and is in deep thought. I really liked how the idea came together it all looks so complete and inspiring in a way. As I said one of the principals I see is emphasis and also asymmetry because of how the blue is mostly one sided and the rest of the photo is black. One thing that I think would improve the photo would be to add a little movement to it or a position to represent the color more. For example doing a yoga position or something that involves relaxation. Overall I really love this piece of work and want to see more of this person's work.

Munnerlyn Choice

I chose this photo because it is a bit mysterious. The girl is not smiling but has this look in her eyes that draws you in. She is wearing black clothing on a black background, and the white cuffs and red lipstick really stand out in contrast to the dark. This is an example of emphasis and perhaps some asymmetry. Additionally, the quality is very good. I like the photo as it is, so I'm not really sure how it could get any better... maybe I would take it from a different angle.

This picture is of a train coming over the river across the bridge. I choose this photo because I liked the way the photographer captured multiple objects in one photo. I also liked how it was in black and white.

This picture is of a girl sitting on an old couch surrounded by more retro like things such as old movie posters. The picture contains multiple principles of design like variety. I like this picture a lot.  I think it was staged very well. I think the lighting helps highlight the picture, and pulls your attention  to the girl on the couch.

This image is very staged. Because of the red colors, you can tell that the girl in this picture is very confident. The image could be better if her arms would not covering her face. this image portrays boldness and independence since she is the only one in the picture. I like this picture because of the red and the emphasis on her shoes. I see emphasis, color, and texture.

I chose this photo because it shows how beauty can come out of ashes. The small delicate flower can grow/prosper out of the black. It is a staged photo that may seem simple, but is very creative. In all, I really enjoyed this minimalistic photo and learned to appreciate it. This image reminds me of emphasis. The black background helps the viewer to focus purely on the hand.

This image is a candid taken in the mountains on a lake. I feel like this image is about living a good life in your older ages. I like this photo because it reminds me of my dad. I feel like my dad would be in a photo like this in the next 20 years. This photo could be better if there was more light and maybe if the angle was different. The principles/elements of design in this photo are emphasis and unity.

I chose this picture because it is interesting, and to have the idea to create an image like this is extremely creative.  The glitter can relate to sugar as it's small yet white. The glitter being colorful adds to the entire picture, colors are added in and give it a different dynamic. Sugar can be compared to happy or a sugar rush and glitter is used for festive activities. Overall, the picture is pleasing to look at is a creative idea.

The image is staged because the girl in the picture is looking directly at the camera.  I choose this photo because all of the bright colors distracted me from all of the other photos.  This photo  represents how people should feel free to express themselves. I like this photo because it is vibrant and filled with different colors. This photo could be better if it was taken from a higher angle. I fell that this photo is a variety photo because there are many different colors but all redirect to her eyes.

Ball is life

This picture describes me because my two moves are playing soccer and playing with my dog. I have played soccer for three years. I play soccer for the United States devepment academy. I have had my dog for a little over a year. His name is Cody and he is the best dog ever.

I chose this picture because I think it represents what is important to me. My favorite sport to play is softball, and I have shown this by holding softball bats. Additionally, I love my little sister very much and including her in this picture shows my caring personality for family.

I chose to photograph myself with all my favorite things around me. I am really crafty. I love to paint and create. I also am lying on my bed because that is my favorite place to relax and it is usually covered with craft supplies because that is where I do the most. I am also wearing my favorite shirt, which though you can't see, has a taco on it because I love tacos. I am also wearing my favorite jewelry, my 3 rings from confirmation, my pink ring, from my brother, and my bracelet, from my favorite teacher. The center of my picture is my camera because photography is my passion and I want to go all the way through Ap. To form the best position for taking a picture, you look through the view finder, which is why you can't see my face.

Me

This is a picture of myself and my dog. She is super sweet and loves long walks.  In general, I love any type of dog and working with dogs.  I used to be a ballerina, but currently cannot from a back injury.

I chose to take this picture as a representation of myself because it shows a few of my favorite things. I like to run as well as eating. This picture shows that I'm from Minnesota and I love the cold. I was born and raised in Minnesota and love being in the snow. This picture is of me holding a lobster. I caught this lobster on a fishing rod while on a fishing trip in the Keys. This picture describes me because i love to fish and i can get pretty hyped about certain things. I love to fish too and everything else that has to do with water sports......

Fashion

Why I chose this style for my project is because I love the retro look. The filter, glasses, and black and white affect really pops out to me. I love the 90's fashion and I plan to express my art with the clothes I wear.
